Hello everyone, as we begin the month of May, please take a moment to read the José Martí STEM Academy "Daily Grind" as we provide a reminder about meaningful events as the 2023-2024 school year continues. Thank you for taking the time to review.

We are thrilled to announce that, once again, our district's dedicated team efforts have resulted in success! According to the Education Recovery Scorecard, a collaboration between Harvard and Stanford Universities examining post-pandemic academic recovery, the Union City School District had the least learning loss in the entire state of New Jersey during the COVID-19 pandemic and, while most districts struggled with reading between 2019 and 2022, our students’ reading performance improved!
